Steps of Turning Rough Diamond to Natural Diamond

Step 1: Mining

Diamonds are extracted from deep within the earth through open-pit or underground mining. The ore is transported to processing plants, where diamonds are separated from rock using crushing, washing, and screening techniques. In alluvial mining, diamonds are collected from riverbeds and coastal areas. After extraction, rough diamonds are sorted based on size, shape, and quality.
